Steve pledger
Steve Pledger is an award-winning singer/songwriter based in County Durham in the North East of England. He has released 3 albums to date, featuring songs which range from fragile reflections on love and loss to blistering commentaries on present circumstances. In spite of the serious nature of some of his songs, his live shows are described as "Funny, witty, intelligent and thought-provoking" and "Unmissable". He performs live around the UK playing solo shows as well as gigging and/or collaborating with other artists. Notable influences on his music include the likes of Cat Stevens, Martyn Joseph, Dylan, Springsteen and others, but he retains and continues to develop a style and sound of his own.

Steve's third album, 'Somewhere Between', won the FATEA Magazine Album Of The Year award (2016) as well as FolkWords' Album Of The Year in the Male Solo category. He was also nominated for their Solo Artist Of The Year.
